Beginning in Dec 2023, all FuelCloud-managed iPads are required to be registered to your Web Portal account and have an active ADS subscription.
If a FuelCloud-managed iPad is not registered, or doesn't have an active ADS subscription, the Driver app will display an error modal with information on how to register and activate the iPad.
If a FuelCloud-managed iPad is registered and active, the pump list will display as expected without error.
NOTE: If using your own iPad, it doesn't need to be registered to your Web Portal account nor is an ADS subscription required.
How to resolve the Device not registered error
- Sign into your company's FuelCloud Web Portal account
- From the sidebar, navigate to My Assets --> Hardware
- From the page tabs, select iPads
- Click Add iPad and select the site where the MDM iPad will be stationed
- Enter the serial displayed in the error modal
- Activate the iPad with a valid payment method
NOTE: The MDM device can be registered and not activated, but this will cause error modal 1007 to display instead of error 1008.
How to resolve the Device not active error
- Sign into your company's FuelCloud Web Portal account
- From the sidebar, navigate to My Assets --> Hardware
- From the page tabs, select iPads
- Click on the gear icon on the inactive iPad and select Activate from the dropdown menu
