FuelCloud provided mobile devices are equipped with a Mobile Device Management system (MDM). This restricts the device from downloading additional apps. The home screen will be limited to the FuelCloud App and Settings. FuelCloud app updates should automatically download. See attached for detailed instructions.
In the event the app does not update automatically follow the steps below to reset and download the latest App Version:
- Go to Settings
- Select General
- Scroll down and select Transfer or Reset iPad
- Select Erase All Content and Settings
- NOTE: if there is an Esim make sure to select Keep E-SIM before continuing with the reset.
- The iPad will reboot and have an Apple Icon on the screen, this may take a few moments.
- The Languages will scroll, Select the home button at the bottom of the iPad
- Select English
- Select United States
- Select Setup Manually or Setup Without Another Device
- The iPad will list available WiFi networks (do not use the FuelCloud network), select Use Cellular Connection
- If there is no option to use Cellular Connection, then Continue without Wi-Fi
- A message will appear "It may take a few minutes to activate your iPad"
- Remote Management- click Next
- A message will appear "Configuring iPad-Installing Configuration from "FuelCloud Opco, LLC"
- Enable Location Services
- The iPad will go to the Home screen. The FuelCloud App will automatically download and remove unwanted apps.
- The FuelCloud App will be greyed out until it is finished downloading.
- Once the download is complete open the FuelCloud App and Accept all Permissions
