We have made updates to the ability to adjust transactions. You can make adjustments to transactions in your Tank’s activity table, including adding, editing, or deleting past or recent transactions.
Where to Access the Feature
The Add, Edit, or Delete functions are available on the Tank Details page through the Activity table using the Add Transaction button, or the settings cog on an individual transaction.
Add Transactions
In order to Add a transaction, go to the Activity tab on the Tank Details page and click Add Transaction.
You may add the following transaction types:
- Pump
- Stick Fill
- Gallons Only Fill
- Internal Transfer
- Customer Transfer
- Inventory Adjustment
- Price Adjustment
Click the Select button beside the transaction type you wish to add, then fill in the necessary transaction details and click Done.
Edit Transactions
In order to Edit a transaction, go to the Activity tab on the Tank Details page and click the settings icon on the right-end column of the transaction you wish to edit, then click Edit. You may also click directly on the row of the transaction, then click Edit Transaction.
You may edit the following transaction details:
- Transaction Date
- Transaction Time
- Driver
- Vehicle
- Pump
- Volume Pumped
- Inventory After
View Transaction Edit History
When a transaction is edited, the previous version of that transaction is saved in the transaction's edit history. To access a transaction's edit history:
- Locate the transaction in the Site, Tank, Vehicle, or Driver Activity tables
- Click anywhere on the transaction row to view the transaction details
If the transaction has been edited, a previous version of the transaction will appear below the current transaction details.
Delete Transactions
In order to Delete a transaction, go to the Activity tab on the Tank Details page and click the tools icon on the right-end column of the transaction you wish to delete, then click Delete. You may also click directly on the row of the transaction, then click Delete Transaction. Note: Once a transaction is deleted, it cannot be undone.
You may delete the following transaction types:
- Pump
- Stick Fill
- Gallons Only Fill
- Internal Transfer
- Customer Transfer
View Transaction Delete History
When a transaction is deleted, you can choose to view all deleted transactions in the Activity table. To access deleted transactions:
- Click the Tank Activity table
- Click the Transaction ID column filter
- Select “Show deleted transactions”
If a transaction has been deleted, it will appear in the Activity table.
