Anova XFluid Tank Monitor Configuration

Set up instructions

1. Navigate to your Anova XFluid account to get your Auth token/API key  

(Note: You must have an XFluid Admin account with the appropriate permissions to access your Auth token/API key. Only monitors the account has access to will be sent to FuelCloud)

1. Go to Settings in the top menu 
2. Copy your Auth token (API key)

2. On Anova XFluid, you will also need to set up a data feed
   1. Navigate to the Admin menu
   2. Then to View Data Feeds

3. Create a new data feed
   1. Select your Distributor if you have more than one
   2. Select your Owner if you have more than one
   3. Change the Delivery Method to API

4. Add all of following fields to the requested fields
   1. Tank ID
   2. Inventory (Gallons)
   3. Reading Time (UTC)

5. Scroll down and select “Create Data Feed” 

6. The data feed ID to be used on FuelCloud can be found at the end of the Report URL

7. Navigate to your FuelCloud account 
   1. Go to the My Assets > Hardware section
   2. Click the Tank Monitor tab and click “Add tank monitor”

8. Select the Anova XFluid Tank Monitor option

9. Enter or Paste the API Key (Auth token)  and Data Feed ID (the numbers at the end of the data feed URL) you copied from your Anova XFluid account.

10. Select a FuelCloud Site to add your Anova XFluid Tank Monitor
    1. Note: This step will be skipped if adding the device on a Site Detail page.
    2. Note: If you are sharing this device with a customer, choose the Share with customer at the bottom.

11. Activate your Subscription. You can choose 1, 3, 6, 12 month subscription lengths at the price of $5/month. 

12. Click Configure to select your Tank Monitor and connect it to a Tank. If clicking Configure from the Hardware page, you will be taken to the Site Detail page to configure your Tank Monitor.

13. Click the + icon next to the tank monitor to select the tank and finish the setup

14. Select the Anova XFluid Tank Monitor you would like to configure
    • Note: It may take up to 15+ minutes for the Anova XFluid tank monitors to show.

15. Select the FuelCloud tank you would like to connect

16. Confirm your selections

Share your Anova XFluid Tank Monitor

From the Hardware page click the Quick Menu settings cog, then select Share

Or start sharing when first adding the tank monitor

Then select the Customer and Site to share the device with
