Inventory Management

FuelCloud is based on a theoretical inventory. This means it calculates inventory based on the starting gallons minus transactions plus any fills. If you back date deliveries you will need to reconcile the tank. For more information on inventory reconciliation follow this link: Inventory Reconciliation 

 

Inventory Adjustment

If you need to adjust your current or past inventory, you can do so under My Assets > Tanks > Settings > Inventory Settings. Any changes made here will add an event transaction under your tank's activity log.

Go to the Inventory Tab

You can adjust inventory here. You can also turn inventory off by selecting the "Off" option under Track Inventory. 

Enter the new ending inventory here. NOTE: If you backdated this adjustment you will need to reconcile your inventory.

Click- Save and reconcile inventory if applicable. 

 

Price Adjustment

If you need to adjust your current or past fuel prices, you can do so under My Assets> Tanks > Settings > Tank Details

Scroll down to the Price Per Unit

Select Adjust Price Per Unit

Insert the Price Per Unit. Note: If you back date the price adjustment you will need to reconcile the inventory to update past transactions. 

 

You can also adjust your fuel price under My Assets > Tanks > Choose a Tank > Activity > Add Transaction > Price Adjustment.
