FuelCloud Hardware
CloudBox
The CloudBox can connect to most existing fueling equipment. It can be installed as a standalone unit or paired with an iPad or Small Business Pedestal. It's UL and FCC rated to guarantee industry-standard safety and long-term reliability.
CloudLink
Need to support more pumps? You can daisy chain up to nine CloudLinks to a single CloudBox, increasing the total number of pump relays available. A CloudLink always requires a CloudBox to function.
Authorization Devices
iPad and Small Business Pedestal
An iPad or Small Business Pedestal creates a dedicated spot for drivers to authenticate at the pump.
- Small Business Pedestal Installation Manual
- Extreme Weather Tablet Enclosure Instructions
- Extreme Weather Kiosk Retrofit
- Thermostat Retrofit Guide
Personal Mobile Devices
Personal- or business-issued phones/tablets running the FuelCloud Driver App can be used to wirelessly authenticate at the pump.
Third-party Hardware
Pulsers
FuelCloud can support a variety of 2-, 3-, and 4-wire pulsers, dispensers, meters, and registers.
Tank monitors
FuelCloud supports tank monitors from several leading manufacturers.
- Anova Unify Tank Monitor Configuration
- Anova XFluid Tank Monitor Configuration
- Centeron Tank Monitor Configuration
- Morrison Bros. Tank Monitor Configuration
- Otodata Tank Monitor Integration
- SMARTank Tank Monitor Configuration

Network Configurations
Drivers use the FuelCloud mobile app to wirelessly authenticate before fueling. CloudBoxes can be configured to support many different wireless and wired network setups!
Access point
By default, a CloudBox will emit a Wi-Fi network signal. If a CloudBox’s signal strength isn’t powerful enough, an external Access Point can be installed.
iPad Direct Connect
Hardwire an iPad to the CloudBox using an ethernet adapter. Depending on the iPad model, this can be set up over USB-C or Lightning (a PoE injector is required if USB-C isn’t available).
- iPad Ethernet Direct Connect (10th Gen)
- iPad Ethernet Direct Connect (9th Gen)
- iPad PoE Ethernet Direct Connect (5th–9th Gen)
- Vehicle to iPad USB-C Direct Connect Installation Guide
- DC Vehicle to iPad Direct Connect Installation Guide
Infrastructure mode
Connect a CloudBox to a local Wi-Fi network. Drivers can only authenticate over the local Wi-Fi network (the CloudBox will not emit its own Wi-Fi).
Ethernet Client Mode
Connect a CloudBox to a local ethernet network. Drivers can authenticate over local Wi-Fi or CloudBox Wi-Fi.
